Elmer Horner was the presiding minister. On July 21, 1996, at a Gensamer family reunion which took place in Tipton, Blair Co., PA, contradictions to this surname problem seem to have been answered, but it is not yet confirmed. According to an update my Melvin Gensamer and other elder members of the family, Cora Mae's mother was married twice. First to Thomas Delaney by whom there was a daughter Letitia and then to W. Scott Hostler, the chief clerk to the Blair Co. Commissioners by whom Cora Mae was born.

The Fuoss Funeral Home Records, 1914-1961, further confuses this issue. More careful research is needed in this area to sort this out. Parents: John HOSTLER and Barbara Ann DOMER.

She was married to Thomas J. DELANEY. (4819) Children were: Cora Mae DELANEY, Lutitia DELANEY.

(4847) Minnie is listed in Fuoss Funeral Home records with the same surname at death as at birth. This raises the possibility that Minnie never married. (4874) The LDS file has two dates of death which would indicate one or the other is incorrect. More evidence is needed to determine actual date of death. He is apparently buried in Toms Brook, Va., which would make the 1778 death in Toms Brook more likely. It should be noted that Johann's wife died on this date. Entering the same date into Johann's record could be an unintended error. He was buried in Toms Brook, Frederick Co., Va.. (4875) Parents: Johannes HODEL and Elisabetha ----.
