It may be possible to confuse Catherine as another Catherine who would have married husband Michael's father, also Michael and Catherine's father-in-law. This is because Catherine died in 1836 or 1838 (Pat Simonett has 1836, the tombstone appears to read 1838). There is a tombstone for "Catherine, wife of Michael" immediately next to the grave of Michael Lauver Sr. However, Catherine died many years before Michael Jr., who apparently moved to Illinois to live with his son Joseph Michael Lauver.
