Large old stone homestead located on the east side of a small stream called Bachman Run and faces U.S. 322 about 150 yards to the north. Rt. 322 in pioneer days was known as the Horseshoe Pike. Current stone house, according to John Slabaugh, was built after the period when Joseph and son Christian lived there. He died by 6 Mar 1776.⁽³⁶⁴⁰⁾ He was also known as Yost KENDRICK.⁽³⁶⁴¹⁾
