Since Michael was affiliated with the Anabaptists, it is likely that he was a convert since he was baptized as a child and Anabaptists did not normally baptize their children. He Migrated from Birmensdorf, Switzerland, to Germany before 1635 to Germany.⁽⁷⁴⁰⁷⁾ he is missing from the Birmensdorf census by 1634. He was Reformed Church on 2 Mar 1661 in Steinsfurt Parish, Northern Kraichgau Region, Germany. Among those present at illegal meeting 15 miles southeast of Heidelberg, Germany. Address given as Reihen, six miles south of Steinsfurt. Since this event is recorded, it is likely that he was arrested on or near the date shown in the fact (2 Mar 1661), or the church preserved the records that survived over the centuries.

Another possibility is that the mother of Michael's children died after giving birth to three children, since we know nothing about her.
